How to Set Up the Amazon SES Mailer in WP Mail SMTP

The Amazon SES mailer for WP Mail SMTP enables you to securely use this same tool to ensure that your emails get delivered.
In this tutorial, we’ll show you every step required to install the Amazon SES mailer in WP Mail SMTP.
Configuring an Amazon AWS Account
Before we begin, you will want to register for a free account with Amazon Web Services, or AWS While your account is free, and this mailer installation doesn’t require using any paid services, AWS will need you to enter a credit card when establishing an account.
After registering for an Amazon Web Services account, their system will attempt to ascertain your region-based off your speech. If AWS is unsure of your area, you will be asked to pick the next closest area.

In this step, we will explain how you can move from Sandbox Mode to Generation Mode so you can send emails to anyone.
Next, you will have to complete the Case Classification form. This is an important step, as it is what Amazon uses to attempt to keep spammers from using their system. In this form, you are essentially proving to Amazon SES your website will be sending emails for valid purposes.

Sending a Test Email

For HTML, you could also click on the toggle if you would like to send a plain text email. For most sites, however, it is going to make the most sense to check an HTML email (keep the default option ).
Once this is ready, click on the Send Email button.
After sending the Mail, you should see a success message.
If you check the inbox for this email address, you must have obtained the Mail for this test.
