What Makes A Good Public Relations?
What makes a good public relations (PR) software? It’s a question we often ask ourselves when looking at new PR software. There are several key areas where PR software must excel before we’ll recommend it to our clients.
We’ve come up with a list of six criteria for evaluating any PR software system. By following this list, you can determine whether or not a given PR software package is right for your business.
1. User Friendly Interface
The user interface (UI) of a PR software application is the part of the program that users interact with. The UI can be complex, simple, or somewhere in between. An effective PR software application will provide users with an efficient, useful, and engaging UI.
2. Easy To Learn And Use
A well designed PR software application should be easy to learn and use. Users shouldn’t feel intimidated by the software or its various features, and they shouldn’t spend hours trying to figure out how to use it.
3. Search Functionality
If you’re going to invest the time and money into learning to use a new PR software application, you deserve to be able to find whatever information you need easily. That means having a search function built directly into the program. If you don’t have a search function, you might end up spending more time sifting through menus and submenus than actually doing your job.
4. Media Tracking Tools
As a PR professional, it’s vital to know which outlets are talking about your company and products. Unfortunately, there are some PR software applications that simply don’t include tools to help you track your company’s mentions across the web. If you don’t see any mention tracking functionality, you could miss opportunities to get your name out there.
5. Social Features
